Campsite Facilities

At Greenacres, your comfort and enjoyment are at the top of our agenda when you stay on our site.

Since taking of Greenacres with new management we’ve heavily invested in upgrading and maintaining the campsite facilities and the site boasts a range of facilities to ensure your stay is relaxing and hassle free.

Renovated Toilet Block

We’ve recently refurbished the toilet block to high standards. This includes modern showers, toilets and washing facilities. The facilities are extremely well maintained and are cleaned several times per day. They are also well lit, warm and free to use for all guests. Ambient music is also played.

Laundry Facilities

Within the toilet block we have a laundry was room that contains a washing machine and tumble dryer.

WIFI/Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi access is available to all guests. You can connect laptops, phones and tablets with ease on our WIFI network.

Security

Security is something we take very seriously at Greenacres. We have excellent on-site security with a security barrier at the entrance to the site and high definition CCTV.

Reception & Information

We have an onsite reception where self-serve tourist information is available.

Electric Hook Ups

We provide electric hook ups for caravans and tourers that use a standard 3 pin connector.

Adult Only Campsite

To ensure a relaxing stay at Greenacres, we operate a strictly adults only campsite. However, home owners occasionally may have young family members stay during the school holidays.

Seasonal Dates

NEW: From March 2022 we will be licensed for caravan park guests all year round.

We have a capacity for 40 tourers and 40 static caravans, plus plenty of space for tents

Caravans for Hire

We have a range of spacious caravans that can be rented on a short-term or long-term basis, giving you the perfect getaway in the idyllic surroundings at Greenacres.

Pet Friendly

Pets are welcome and there is a dog walking field opposite the site.

Additional Information

As well as the wealth of onsite facilities set in 4 acres of peaceful and beautiful countryside, Greenacres is perfectly located for those looking to explore the local area and has a lot of amenities within a short distance.

Local Pub/Food

The Fountain is only a 5 minute walk from the campsite and has an excellent selection of food and beers and ales

Shops/Town/Cash Point

The main village of Tuxford is only a 10 minute walk from the site and here you’ll find supermarkets, takeaways and a cash point.

Local Transport

There are bus stops at the site entrance that take you to the local areas and towns.
